Raketenmann Berlin

Unknown to most, the offbeat artist works under the pseudonym DER RAKETENMANN in his secret hideout-atelier in the middle of Berlin's Kreuzberg – far away from the mainstream.  Since an early age, he has been fascinated by design and the customization of authentic objects, especially space-related memorabilia, and is now focusing on restoring original jet fighter equipment with an anti-bourgeois appeal.

A limited number of rockets are handmade to order and feature unique off-the-grid themes inspired by film, television, 70s-porn, and pop culture. Raketenmann has worked as a set-designer for several TV-productions and music videos. “The furniture pieces are the antithesis of war. Objects that were solely designed to destroy are put into a different context and become unique curiosities for collectors and people who have an honest and deep love for design.”

RAKETENBARS
maintain their brutalist shapes, but capture a completely different sentiment, echoing the most progressive voices in art and culture today. The restricted access to resources during the pandemic resulted in an extremely sophisticated limited collection of rockets and bars: BLOXX230 COLLECTION.

Each piece comes with a product history and a certificate of authenticity specially customized for the project. For the custom furniture pieces of the collection and bespoke orders, please contact RAKTENMANN here 🚀
